Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Background:
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science degree (minimum 180 ECTS) in:- Animal Science
- Related fields such as agricultural sciences, veterinary medicine, zoology, botany, microbiology, or similar.
A documented understanding of genetics or animal breeding is required.
- English Language Proficiency:
Proof of English proficiency is mandatory unless you meet exemption criteria (see below). Accepted tests and scores include:- TOEFL iBT: Minimum 92 (23 in speaking).
- IELTS Academic: Minimum 6.5 (6.0 in speaking).
- Cambridge C1 Advanced/CAE: Score 180–210, Grade C.
- Cambridge C2 Proficiency/CPE: Score 180–230, Grade C.
Exemptions apply to applicants from specific English-speaking countries (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, etc.) with qualifying degrees.
- Additional Conditions:
- Applicants with a prior MSc in a similar field from the University of Goettingen are ineligible.
- All documents must be submitted in English or include an English translation.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following documents in PDF format via the EMABG application portal:
- Degree Certificate: Validated BSc (and MSc, if applicable) certificate with English translation if necessary.
- Transcript of Records: Detailed course grades and grading scale.
- Passport Copy: Personal details page.
- Certificate of Residence: Proof of current residence issued within 12 months.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): Preferably in Europass format, detailing education, work experience, publications, and research projects.
- Photo: A clear, professional headshot.
- Language Certificate: Official test results meeting the requirements.
- Motivation Letter: Explain your interest in EMABG, preferred study tracks, qualifications for the scholarship, and future career goals.
- Letters of Recommendation: Two recommendation letters from professors or employers, mentioning your name.
- Declaration of Consent: A signed consent form for data processing.
