Eligibility Criteria for Chinese Government Scholarship Silk Road Program 2025
- Bachelor’s students can apply in Major Chinese Language-Business Chinese.
- Master’s students can apply in Information Resources Management program.
- Applicants of the bachelor’s program shall be older than 18 and younger than 25 years.
- Applicants of the master’s program shall not be older than 35 years.
- Candidates should have nationality of the country listed in the countries along the Belt and Road
- Bachelor’s applicants should have high school diploma. Master’s program applicants shall have the bachelor’s degree.
- For undergraduate degree application, the applicant must have HSK level 5.
- For postgraduate degree application, the applicant must have IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 85 or TOEFL Essentials 9.

- Applicants must submit one application on the CSC website for scholarship and the other at NJU’s China International Student Service System for admission in Nanjing University.
- First register and apply at the CSC website
- Fill up the online application form.
- Insert “10284” for Agency number.
- Tick ‘B’ for Program Type.
- Click the submit button and download the application form.
- Then Register and apply at NJU’s China International Student Service System.
- Tick ‘CSC Scholarship’ for program type.
- Upload all the necessary documents.
- Submit the form and keep checking your email for updates.
Documents needed for Chinese Government Scholarship 2025
- Pre-graduation certificate if degree is not yet completed.
- Filled CSC Scholarship Application Form.
- Academic transcripts.
- Certificate of high school or bachelor’s diploma.
- Two recommendation letters.
- HSK test certificate is required for the applicants of Bachelor’s Chinese Degree.
- TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo test results are required for the applicants of Master’s program.

- Bachelor’s program applicants have to mention about their application motivation, understanding of China and Nanjing University, academic competence, and study plan in China.
